Aloha and Welcome,
I have been a Hawaii Consumer Bankruptcy attorney since 1995. Before that I was exposed to bankruptcy by representing creditors in bankruptcy. I quickly saw that the way to really make a difference (which was why I went to law school in the first place) was to assist the "honest but unfortunate debtor" to gain a "fresh start." So, I became a Hawaii Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney. I have never regretted the decision.
Over the years since then I have successfully assisted many, many Hawaii individuals and families to overcome their financial difficulties and gain a fresh start. Working together with me my clients have completely eliminated or seriously limited their debts, stopped harassing creditor calls at home and work, stopped garnishments, foreclosures and repossessions . I have helped my clients to regain a sense that they could live in Hawaii and make a good life for themselves and their families. To that end, I have been privileged to help Hawaii consumers in ways which allow them to legally keep the things which matter most to them: their homes, their vehicles, their retirement savings and their possessions.
